Welcome to the Mustang II Builders' Resource website. This site is devoted to the Mustang II aircraft. The Mustang II is an all metal, side by side aircraft that you can build at home in your garage or basement.
Mustang Aeronautics (www.mustangaero.com) own the rights on the design and a comprehensive set of plans and instructions is available from them. They also manufacture a complete kitset for the Mustang II.
The Mustang II is fairly unique in that it is one of very few designs that can be built directly from the plans, where the builder makes each part from flat sheet metal and tube or you can buy a complete kit with a range of quick build options that can be completed in a minimum of time and still fall within the FAA's 51% rule.
